After visiting the inspiring old adobe city-Yazd, the next destination can be the cultural capital of Iran, Shiraz.
The distance between these two cities is 473 km which takes about 6 h 30 without stopovers.

Actually the most remarkable monuments to visit in Iran are located on the route of Yazd to Shiraz and vice versa.

Drive from Yazd to Shiraz at 8:00am.
The first stopover is Abar Kuh where you will visit the old cypress.
Then head for Pasargade ( if time allows).
Afterwards pay a visit to Necropolis

Abar Kooh
An ancient untouched adobe town near the Silk Road, famous for its 4500 years old Cypress, affluent mansions, tiles and apricot.

Impressive hand cut burial caves of Persian legendary kings.
Persepolis:
A massive sophisticated stone structure, built by Darius in 518 B.C. as the ceremonial capital of Persian Empire.
